About this role
At Pareto, we believe that great decisions are built on trust and transparency. As an Auditor, you’ll help us uphold these values by diving deep into our financial processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and accountability. This role spans across different types of audits—financial, operational, compliance—and will be hands-on with transaction-level review, especially around our payment and expense systems. What you’ll do:
Perform different types of audits, including internal financial audits, operational reviews, and compliance checks
Validate payments made across various platforms and ensure records match actual transfers
Review Wise transactions to verify that amounts sent are accurate and match supporting documentation
Analyze all transactions on Company Credit Cards (Brex), flag unusual charges, and ensure that all expenses have appropriate and valid receipts
Investigate discrepancies or questionable charges and follow up with relevant teams
Check for policy adherence in expense claims and payment approvals
Document audit findings and work with internal stakeholders to ensure resolution
Assist in creating or improving internal controls and audit processes
Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other departments to promote financial accountability
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
1-2 years of experience in auditing, finance, or a similar analytical role
Knowledge of different audit types and a strong understanding of internal controls
Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple audits or tasks simultaneously
High integrity and respect for confidentiality
