As a BI Developer, specializing in Power BI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the data consumption strategy for our clients. You will be responsible for designing and developing data models, architecting the consumption layer, and delivering high-impact visualizations and dashboards. Your work will guide data-driven decision-making across various industries, ensuring that data is transformed into actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Dashboards and reportsthat provide actionable insights to clients.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into visualizations that drive decision-making.

Support the end-to-end BI development lifecycle, including data extraction, transformation, modeling, and visualization.

Articulate a clear vision for how data flows from sources through warehouse layers into the consumption layer and ensure that data models are optimized for performance and usability.

Work with data engineering teams to design and implement robust data models in the consumption layer, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business requirements

Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define and implement BI strategies that enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization

Present insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

Skills – Must Have

Development of interactive and visually compelling dashboards and reports in PowerBI(or any other industry leading Business Intelligence tool).

Best practices for Power BI, including data transformation (using Power Query), DAX formula optimization, and performance tuning (similar experience in a complimentary BI tool will be considered).

Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and data architecture for the purpose of delivering BI products and/or Analytical results.

Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data

Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling concepts, including star schema and snowflake schema

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills - Bonus Points:

Experience with one or more cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud

Knowledge of other BI tools like Tableau or Qlik.

Expertise with modern cloud data warehouse solutions such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Redshift etc.

Experience with Azure Synapse or Fabric

Experience building ML models using ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn)

Experience with Generative AI models and applications.
