Contract Senior Salesforce Administrator

Overview

Velir is seeking a part time Senior Salesforce Administrator to assist our client services department with managing, optimizing, and ensuring the smooth operation of our Salesforce platform. This individual will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into technical solutions, and provide ongoing support and training to end users. The hourly commitment will be up to 20 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize Salesforce objects, fields, validation rules, workflows, flows, and Lightning components.
  • Data Management: Maintain data integrity, cleanse data, and manage duplicate records.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Process Automation: Design and implement process automation using tools like Flow and Process Builder.
  • Support and Training: Provide end-user support, training, and troubleshooting for Salesforce-related issues.
  • Solution Design: Work with stakeholders to define requirements for new Salesforce initiatives and implement solutions that effectively meet business needs.
  • Project Management: Serve as project lead, manage project timelines, and ensure successful implementation of Salesforce projects.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and IT, to gather requirements and implement solutions.

Skills:

  • Expertise in Salesforce Platform: Deep understanding of Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical solutions.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within Salesforce.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and end-users.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage projects from initiation to completion.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Salesforce tools and technologies, such as Flow, Process Builder, and Apex.
  • Salesforce Certifications: Ideally, the candidate should possess relevant Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator.

Compensation Range: $60 -$70 hourly

Please note that compensation packages are finalized after the interview process is concluded. We use a competency-based approach to base pay, which means it is based on the competencies and skills demonstrated for this role.
