Study.com is looking for Content Project Coordinators to play a vital role in assisting with content operations at Study.com. They will perform daily project administration tasks to ensure the quality and consistency of Study.com educational and promotional resources. This is an online, remote contract role. There is an expectation to have at least 50% of working hours overlap with an 8 am – 5 pm PST working day.
Project Description
Project duties include:
- Being a touchpoint in the freelancer onboarding process, helping them get set up with initial work assignments and providing support
- Following standard project QA procedures
- Managing day to day correspondence with remote freelancers, including confirming requirements and best practices have been followed on assignments
- Delivering written feedback to remote freelancers as necessary, according to project guidelines and quality standards
- Escalating emergent issues related to assignments and contributors to the project team
- Attending regular check-ins with project team
- Completing additional tasks as needed to ensure project deliverables meet standards for timeliness, completion, and adherence to guidelines
Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience providing constructive feedback
- Ability to operate independently and make judgement calls as needed
- Responsiveness and regular communication, overlapping with PST working hours at least 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience applying instructional design principles in an online education environment
- Experience collaborating with academic subject matter experts
- Experience writing or copyediting educational materials such as lessons, textbooks, video scripts etc.
- Experience with any of the following tools: Excel, Smartsheet, Notion, Content Management Systems
