The company you’ll join
Investing in private equity or venture capital should be as easy as buying a stock on Robinhood but it isn’t. Instead of purchasing investments in a few clicks, investors fill out 200+ page forms.
Passthrough simplifies investor onboarding, fund closing, and compliance with workflows that guide investors through only what applies to them and once they’ve invested, we save their information to create a reusable investor profile—so the next investment is even faster.
Since launching in 2020, we’ve processed tens of billions of dollars and helped 50K+ investors complete documents in as short as 2 minutes. We’re making an outdated, manual process into something modern, simple, and built for scale.
The impact you’ll have
You’ll own the plan that drives Passthrough’s pipeline across inbound, outbound, and partnerships. You’ll design the campaigns, configure the systems, and make it easy for sales, marketing development, and partnerships to execute. You’ll also ensure there’s fuel (content, podcasts, webinars, research, and co-marketing) to keep the engine running.
You’ll bring strategic thinking, sharp operational instincts, and the drive to take ownership of the outcome, not just the tasks. You’re not just looking to run a playbook. You want to help write it. You’ll test new ideas, learn what works, and push our pipeline goals forward by thinking like an owner.
This role is central to how we grow and reports to the CEO. You won’t manage a team directly, but you’ll work across teams and projects to make sure we’re consistently generating qualified opportunities.
The problems you’ll solve
Own pipeline creation across inbound, outbound, and partner-driven channels
Plan and launch integrated campaigns across email, paid, social, events, and content
Make demand generation plays execution-ready for sales, MDRs, and partners
Maintain and optimize our marketing/revenue stack (Salesloft, ActiveCampaign, Salesforce, Zapier, Webflow, etc.)
Track campaign performance and optimize by audience, segment, and channel
Manage outsourced workstreams for design, content, and other needs
Drive consistent execution of webinars, podcasts, and newsletters—and make sure they support our pipeline goals
Recommend improvements to the stack or strategy that can materially improve efficiency or results
What kind of person thrives here
This role is perfect for someone who:
Wants ownership over something that matters and is hungry to prove they can grow it
Asks “what else can we be doing?” rather than waiting for a to-do list
Learns by running real campaigns, reviewing performance, and adapting fast
Sees failure as a stepping stone, not a career risk
Desired Qualifications
4–7 years of experience in B2B demand generation, growth marketing, or revenue marketing
A track record of creating pipeline through multi-channel campaigns
Experience working closely with sales and partnerships teams
Comfort with tools like ActiveCampaign, Salesloft, Zapier, and Webflow—or the ability to learn quickly
A builder mindset: You like connecting the dots, solving bottlenecks, and getting from idea to outcome
Analytical chops to measure what’s working and creative instincts to test new ideas
You value clarity, execution, and stretching dollars to get the biggest impact
Nice to Have
These aren’t required, but they’ll help you ramp faster or bring even more value to the role:
Early-stage startup experience: you’re used to building as you go, prioritizing fast feedback over perfection
Experience creating campaigns that target fund managers, legal counsel, or fund administrators especially in the context of fund formation, compliance, or investor onboarding
Ability to turn educational content into pipeline: e.g., webinars → nurture → opp creation
Ability to make light edits in Webflow or design assets in Canva without outside help
