The IT Support Engineer will serve as a source of resolutions and expertise for Brave’s internal technology needs. In addition to managing internal support requests, an IT Support Engineer is a key contributor to laptop and peripheral deployment and tracking.

This is a hybrid role with 1-3 days per week in our Boise, Idaho office.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary contact for laptop and peripheral deployment from Boise, Idaho.

  • Assists in tracking hardware asset inventories.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware problems including repair and testing proposed fixes.

  • Accurately record all service requests and issues in the IT ticketing system, engaging other members of the IT team when necessary or appropriate.

  • Provides hardware and software support for remote employees.

  • Escalates and coordinates issues to internal and external resources.

  • Provide urgent response for Brave staff.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support business applications.

  • Collaborate with team members to devise solutions for technical inefficiencies.

Required Skills:

  • Multi-task in a fast paced and changing environment.

  • Proficient in cloud-based technologies, such as Azure, Google Workspace and Jira.

  • Excellent customer service skills with experience in enterprise technology support.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to identify priorities.

  • Experience researching and supporting new and emerging technologies.

  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency supporting Apple technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of technical support experience with strong preference of 2+ years supporting 100% remote workforce.

  • Relevant technical certifications.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team and independently.

  • Good communication skills and positive demeanor.
