Responsibilities:
Design and implement network solutions across multi-site environments, ensuring high performance and reliability.Manage, maintain, and optimise existing LAN/WAN infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.Participate in and lead projects, from initial scoping and design to full deployment, installation, and configuration.Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing expert advice on new and existing technologies to drive their technical roadmaps forward.Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including the Managed Services Team, to resolve client issues and enhance network security.Provide Level 2/3 support and participate in an on-call roster to ensure the smooth operation of complex network environments.Contribute to customer engagement and discussions, contributing to business growth through professional service excellence.To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience: A solid background in managing and troubleshooting complex network environments, with hands-on experience in designing and commissioning routing and switching solutions.Project Leadership: Proven ability to self-manage across the full project lifecycle, including design, scoping, and implementation.Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, combined with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.Technical Expertise: Experience working across various networking platforms and technologies, including:Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls (preferably CCNP, CCIE certification)Routing protocols such as BGP & OSPFCisco Nexus, Catalyst, HPE, and Aruba switching solutionsPalo Alto, Fortinet, Sophos, and Cisco firewallsNetwork security management, NAT, IPSec VPN configuration & troubleshootingTelephony platforms (3CX, CUCM, Teams calling)VMware networking and virtualisationCloud networking (AWS, Azure)
