Program Manager, Client Implementation

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, mission-driven leader to join our P3 division and manage our client implementation and success team. This individual will serve as a key partner to government stakeholders, ensuring complex, multi-stakeholder projects are delivered seamlessly while unlocking long-term partnerships across verticals like broadband, transportation, energy, and water infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings a mix of public sector savvy, technical fluency, and a growth mindset—leveraging AI tools to scale impact, track progress, and turn customers into champions.

About your role at Ready ⚡️

  • Lead the client implementation and success team, ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope, and to high quality standards.

  • Guide state and local partners through program implementation—turning mandates into milestones and challenges into opportunities.

  • Use AI-driven tooling to manage documentation, track project health, and create transparency across stakeholders.

  • Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers, enabling Ready to expand horizontally across state programs beyond broadband.

  • Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure our platform evolves with real-world needs and policy shifts.

  • Stay up-to-date on relevant federal and state policy developments; distill insights to drive proactive engagement.

  • Identify opportunities for cross-agency growth in areas like water, energy, transportation, and public safety.

  • Mentor and coach a high-performing, mission-aligned client success team.

  • Represent Ready at key convenings, public sector forums, and strategic meetings.

A bit about you 🥇

  • Deep familiarity with how federal funding flows through state and local government—experience in broadband, infrastructure, or related programs is a plus.

  • Experience implementing technical solutions with or within government (e.g., GovTech, civic tech, federal grant programs).

  • Ability to quickly learn federal policy frameworks and advise internal teams and clients accordingly.

  • Technically fluent—you’re comfortable adopting new tools quickly (e.g., Slack, Linear, Notion, AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT) and using them to drive efficiency, collaboration, and insight.

  • Proven track record managing or mentoring client-facing teams in fast-paced or high-growth environments.

  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills—especially in politically complex environments.

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to anticipate both immediate needs and longer-term opportunities.

  • Self-starter who thrives on ownership and autonomy, but collaborates well across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in public policy, business, technology, communications, or a related field. A master's degree is a big plus.

  • Nice to have: Project management experience and/or certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum).
