Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QA RDS Engineer to join our R&D team at Real, with 3+ years of experience in both manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and executing test plans, analyzing product requirements, and continuously enhancing testing procedures. You will work closely with development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications, helping to troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by agents and customers.
Duties/Responsibilities
Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for both web and mobile applications, ensuring thorough coverage of all functional areas and business requirements.
Requirements Analysis: Analyze Product Requirement Documents (PRD) to identify gaps and potential issues early in the development cycle.
Test Case Creation: Write, manage, and execute detailed test cases, ensuring sufficient test coverage for all features.
Testing Frameworks: Enhance existing testing frameworks to expand both manual and automated testing efforts, including the development of test scripts for regression, negative testing, error/bug retests, and usability evaluations.
Collaboration: Work independently and collaborate within a team environment to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
Bug Tracking and Issue Reporting: Identify and raise issues or defects through established project management channels, ensuring they are properly tracked and addressed according to project timelines.
Automated Testing: Utilize tools like Cypress or Playwright to automate testing procedures and ensure efficient test execution.
UI/UX Testing: Perform thorough UI/UX testing to ensure a seamless and optimal user experience across all applications.
API Testing: Engage in web services (API) testing using tools like Postman or Swagger, ensuring that backend services are functioning correctly.
Error Monitoring: Use debugging tools like Bugsnag to monitor applications, identify issues, and work on resolving bugs reported by agents or end-users.
Customer Support Interaction: Provide QA support to agents, verifying and diagnosing reported issues, and confirming whether they are valid or need further investigation.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies, test case creation, and test case management.
Strong ability to convert requirements and user stories into test cases with complete coverage.
Familiarity with frontend technologies and experience with testing their unique requirements.
Experience using test management and defect management tools (such as YouTrack, Jira, or similar).
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, particularly Cypress or Playwright.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen focus on process improvements and efficiency.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of reporting test results clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality software.
Experience in real estate markets is a plus, as it will be relevant to understanding the specific needs of the applications being tested.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in QA testing, including both manual and automated testing for web and mobile platforms.
Demonstrated experience with mobile testing (Android and iOS platforms).
Experience in UI/UX testing methodologies to ensure applications are both functional and user-friendly.
Familiarity with error monitoring and debugging tools (e.g., Bugsnag).
Experience with web services (API) testing and using tools like Postman or Swagger is highly desired.
Prior experience working with real estate applications is a plus.
