Expressable is a virtual speech therapy practice on a mission to transform care delivery and expand access to high-quality services, serving thousands of clients since our inception in late 2019. Our e-learning platform contains thousands of home-based learning modules authored by our clinical team, helping SLPs empower caregivers to integrate speech therapy techniques into their child’s daily life and improve outcomes. WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING AT EXPRESSABLE

  • Lead Generation and Outreach: Build and maintain trusted relationships with primary and specialty physicians, medical staff, referral coordinators, and other relevant stakeholders

  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and update leads in CRM, track outreach, and follow up with prospects regularly. Effectively nurture and build relationships with potential clients to encourage long-term partnerships.

  • Product Knowledge and Presentations: Implement a mix of inbound and outbound strategies to raise awareness of Expressable’s unique clinical approach.

  • Close Sales and Meet Targets: Work to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Convert qualified leads into closed sales and contribute to client growth by scheduling new clients efficiently.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Teams: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation, share feedback from customers, and suggest improvements. Coordinate with the sales director to align goals and ensure seamless transitions between lead nurturing and closing stages.

  • Sales Reporting and Documentation: Keep accurate records of all sales activities in CRM systems, including calls, emails, meetings, and transactions. Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, sales activities, and pipeline status.

WHAT YOU BRING TO EXPRESSABLE

  • Associate degree

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in healthcare technology or virtual health services, pharmaceuticals, or other medical services

  • Consultative selling style and related skills and experience

  • Comfortable with and motivated by a quota-driven environment

  • Generating provider referrals experience is preferred

  • Familiarity with speech-language therapy practice is preferred

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have competency in office productivity and collaboration tools such as MSOffice/Teams or Google Suite and Slack. Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM systems.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job consists of sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type on a computer keyboard to write documentation and prepare reports. Visual and auditory acuity must be high enough to view computer screens, read documents communicated via electronic transmission such as email, shared drives, and chats, and participate in teleconferencing. This job operates in a remote home office utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, tablets, monitors, and telephone.

 

TRAVEL

No regular territory travel is necessary. The employee may be expected to attend a sales conference on rare occasions.

We are seeking a dedicated innovative Sales Development Rep (Healthcare Services) with strong relationship-building and organizational skills to join our rapidly expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in community outreach, provider education, and territory expansion and is motivated by a quota-driven environment. This fully remote role works primarily out of a home office and includes following up on warm digital leads (~70%) with some cold calling (~30% involved).
