What's the opportunity? 🤔
At Filmhub, you’ll be the Training Manager for our Sales Teams, responsible for ensuring our Sales acquisition executives are equipped to sell Filmhub’s platform effectively and confidently. You will play a key role in developing ongoing training programs that help the sales team position Filmhub’s value to producers and distributors, address objections, and close deals.
As Filmhub continues to grow, our ability to communicate the value of our platform and overcome industry-specific challenges is critical to our success. This role focuses on creating impactful training initiatives that enhance our team’s sales acumen, improve their ability to handle client questions, and elevate their confidence in promoting Filmhub as the go-to platform for title distribution.
Success in this role means enabling the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed their goals by sharpening their skills in positioning, objection handling, and client engagement strategies.
What will I be doing? đź’ˇ
You will lead the charge in ongoing sales training, ensuring the team is well-versed in Filmhub’s unique value proposition and equipped to close deals effectively. Your primary focus will be on improving the team’s sales capabilities, tackling objections, and building their confidence to sell to producers and distributors.
Key responsibilities include:
Industry education and expertise: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure AEs have a deep understanding of the film distribution industry, including the needs and challenges of filmmakers, producers, and distributors. Provide insights into industry trends, competitive landscapes, and the unique value Filmhub brings to the market.
Enhancing sales positioning: Train the team to clearly and confidently communicate the benefits of Filmhub’s platform, tailoring messaging to the needs of filmmakers, producers, and distributors.
Developing objection-handling strategies: Create and deliver training on how to proactively address common questions and challenges from clients, turning objections into opportunities.
Sales process refinement: Work with the team to refine their approach to prospecting, pitching, and closing deals, ensuring alignment with Filmhub’s best practices.
Ongoing sales skill development: Implement a continuous learning program to sharpen the team’s skills in areas like negotiation, relationship building, and upselling.
Creating practical resources: Develop easy-to-use guides, playbooks, FAQs, and scripts to support the sales team in their daily interactions with clients.
Monitoring performance and feedback: Analyze sales metrics, gather feedback from the team, and iterate on training programs to address evolving needs.
Collaborating with leadership: Partner with Sales Managers and leadership to align training programs with company goals and ensure the team consistently meets revenue targets.
Delivering tailored coaching: Provide 1:1 and group coaching sessions to help team members navigate complex sales conversations and improve performance.

Sales Expertise: Deep understanding of the sales cycle, with a focus on positioning, objection handling, and closing strategies.
Training and Facilitation: Experience designing and delivering impactful sales training programs for ongoing skill development.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the film distribution space, including the needs and challenges of producers, filmmakers, and distributors.
Problem-Solving: Adept at identifying barriers to success and creating solutions to overcome them.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for delivering clear, engaging, and effective training sessions.
Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to analyze sales performance data to identify gaps and refine training strategies.
Coaching Mindset: A proven ability to mentor and inspire sales team members to achieve their potential.
Technical Skills:
CRM Systems: Experience with tools like HubSpot or Salesforce to train and optimize sales workflows.
Sales Enablement Tools: Familiarity with platforms like Gong or SalesLoft to analyze sales performance and identify training needs.
Content Creation: Proficiency in developing resources like scripts, guides, and FAQs using tools like Google Suite, Canva, or video editing software.
Data Analysis: Basic proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets to track and evaluate the success of training programs.
