NetBox Labs is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer with 5+ years of experience to play a strategic role in driving new business, expanding key accounts, and enabling our Sales team to deliver technical value to enterprise customers.
This role is perfect for someone with deep technical expertise in networking, network infrastructure, or automation. You’ll be the trusted advisor to our prospects and customers, helping them understand how NetBox can solve complex network challenges.
What You’ll Do:
Engage with technical and executive stakeholders to understand their pain points, workflows, and business objectives.
Lead technical discovery calls and product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of NetBox Cloud in real-world environments.
Own the technical sales process, including running and supporting prospect proof-of-concept (POC) engagements, responding to technical objections, and ensuring smooth handoffs to post-sales teams.
Dig into customers use cases and apply NetBox capabilities to architect custom solutions
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Marketing to refine messaging, identify customer needs, and influence the product roadmap based on market feedback.
Develop and present compelling business cases that articulate the ROI of NetBox Cloud and Enterprise offerings to senior level decision-makers.
Support pipeline generation efforts by identifying high-quality prospects and guiding the Sales team on technical outreach strategies.
Contribute to content creation, such as technical blogs, webinars, and whitepapers, to drive thought leadership in the network automation space.

Product & Engineering Teams – Relay customer feedback to help shape the future of NetBox Cloud.
Customer Success & Solutions Architects – Ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales implementation.
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Pre-Sales role within enterprise SaaS, networking, or open-source software.
Working knowledge of networking concepts, network automation, and infrastructure technologies. Familiarity with NetBox or similar tools is a big plus.
Proven ability to engage both technical users and executive stakeholders in a consultative sales process.
Hands-on experience with APIs, scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.), and network automation workflows is a strong advantage.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills – you can translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value.
Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles, including proof-of-concepts, RFP responses, and objection handling.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
