Vanta is seeking our first-ever Technical Enablement Manager to join our rapidly growing GTM Enablement team! This role will be responsible for designing, delivering and iterating onboarding and ongoing training and enablement for Vanta’s technical teams including Sales Engineers, Customer Support and Customer Success Managers. You will play a critical role in empowering these teams with the knowledge, tools, and expertise needed to communicate the technical value of our platform and drive customer engagement and success. You will partner closely with cross-functional leaders across Product, Engineering, SEs and Post Sales technical teams to ensure every technical stakeholder is equipped to deliver a top-tier product experience.
What you’ll do as a Technical Enablement Manager at Vanta:
Design and deliver high-impact training programs that align to business goals and enable technical field teams to clearly articulate product value and solve customer problems.
Build and manage certification programs to assess technical competency and improve team performance.
Develop end-to-end learning experiences, e-learning, live workshops, certifications, demos, and playbooks that support onboarding, continuous learning for our technical teams.
Create stronger feedback loops between technical teams and PM to ensure that customer insights and feedback and product updates are consistently being shared and acted upon.
Collaborate with stakeholders in Product, Engineering, Sales Engineering, Support, and Enablement to identify knowledge gaps and align training initiatives to company and team priorities.
Continuously assess program effectiveness through feedback and performance data, iterating to drive stronger outcomes.
Act as the connective tissue between Product and the field, translating technical product features into accessible value-driven messaging for customer-facing technical roles.
Act as a consultant to the Enablement, PM, and additional teams to support technical product enablement and demo skills when required.
How to be successful in this role:
5+ years of experience in technical enablement, technical training, sales/solutions engineering, or a similar field with a strong focus on learning and education.
Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging content for a variety of technical audiences.
Experience building enablement programs from the ground up, ideally in a fast-paced SaaS or high-growth environment.
Deep understanding of technical selling motions and the role of Sales Engineers, Solution Architects, or Technical CSMs.
Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences and geos
Passion for learning and development, with a commitment to driving continuous improvements
