Position Overview

Interdependence is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Vice President of Business Development, Entertainment Public Relations to help expand our footprint in the entertainment industry. This role is for someone who excels in collaborative, entrepreneurial environments. You'll leverage your network and sales expertise to identify new opportunities and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement targeted strategies to grow our client base across film, TV, digital media, streaming platforms, talent agencies, and other related entertainment sectors.
  • Take initiative, identify, and build strong relationships with C-level executives and key industry decision-makers to earn new business.
  • Lead the development of client pitches, proposals, and presentations, working closely with internal teams to create customized solutions that resonate with prospective clients.
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets by aggressively pursuing new opportunities and nurturing strategic partnerships.
  • Stay up-to-date on key entertainment industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging market opportunities to effectively position Interdependence services.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to ensure business development efforts align with the company's overall strategic vision.
  • Represent Interdependence at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and build credibility.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within the entertainment sector.
  • Proven track record of securing new business and driving growth.
  • Extensive network and established relationships with influential executives, brands, studios, and decision-makers in entertainment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic mindset with an ability to identify opportunities and capitalize on industry trends.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
