✨ About the role ✨

At Photoroom, with a globally loved product, a Series B backing, the foundations are strong - but the real opportunity is ahead and the next 18 months are pivotal. As we scale towards 200+ people, the opportunity is to mature our People practices while preserving what makes Photoroom special: high standards, deep care for people, and product obsession

  • Deliver the systems and environment that help every Photoroomer do their best work.

  • Build and iterate a lightweight performance, compensation, and promotion framework that retains top talent and make Photoroom business scale.

  • You’ll own and evolve our People function — leading a team of 6 across People Ops, Talent, and Office & Events.

  • Scale hiring velocity (incl. first U.S. pod) while maintaining a strong revenue impact by employee

  • You’ll act as a trusted advisor to our leaders and managers, helping them grow high-performing teams and navigate the messiness of scaling with clarity and care.

  • Drive culture, onboarding, and L&D initiatives so 90 %+ of employees can articulate and live our values.

  • Implement people analytics, payroll, and compliance processes that give leadership clear, dynamic insights.

✨ About you ✨

  • Senior People leadership (Head/Director/VP) in a high-growth, international tech company (from 100 people to 250 people).

  • End-to-end ownership of People, Talent, and Operations functions.

  • Proven delivery of compensation, equity, and performance frameworks.

  • Experience scaling distributed teams and opening new hubs.

  • Analytical and data-driven mindset. You use data to spot patterns, drive strategy, and influence decisions.

  • Ability to partner with C-level and influence at all levels.

  • Strong written and spoken English.

  • You’re commercially-minded and deeply people-focused—designing strategies that drive business performance while creating environments where individuals thrive and feel genuinely supported.

Nice to have:

  • French employment law knowledge

  • Experience building L&D or career development programs from scratch.

  • You have experience working with our people tech stack: Hibob, Deel, Lattice.

If you think you have what it takes but don't meet every single point above, please still apply. We'd love to chat and see if you could be a great fit.

Hiring Process

  • Technical interview with the CEO

  • Collaborative Session with cross functional leaders

  • Meet the team

  • Culture fit interviews

  • Reference check & Offer

Support - If you have a medical condition or an individual need for an adjustment to our process, and you believe this may affect your ability to be at your best - please let us know so we can talk about how we can best support you and make any adjustments that may be needed.

🌈 Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging

We are committed to enabling everyone to feel included and valued at the workplace. We believe both the company and its culture are strongest when composed of diverse experiences and backgrounds.

That's why:

- We have flexible working hours

- We trust people to work remotely

- We extended the length of the parental leave
