At Photoroom, you’ll be our VP Product, partnering with the founders to craft the vision, translate it into an executable roadmap, and build the operational muscle that keeps us learning and shipping fast on the path to $1bn ARR and beyond.
🇪🇺 We are flexible: most of our team is remote across Europe and North America, but we also have an awesome office in Paris. We expect you 2 days a week in the office on average.
✈️ We offer substantial support for relocation (up to 10k€), including finding an apartment in Paris and supporting you with the visa procedure.
🛂 We currently sponsor visas for individuals relocating to France or already based here. We are unable to sponsor visas for remote positions outside of France at this time.

About the role
You will lead a senior product organisation (Product, User Research) and work in lock-step with Design, Engineering, Data, and Product Growth. Your mandate spans product strategy, operational excellence, and team scale-up:
Craft & communicate vision: Turn market insight and founder ambition into a clear, motivating product narrative that rallies the whole company.
Roadmap & execution rigor: Maintain a measurable quarterly roadmap and rolling 12 month strategic view. Define KPIs, and ensure weekly and quarterly cadences that surface learnings fast.
Operational excellence: Instil lightweight, data-driven processes (dashboards, A/B testing frameworks, research playbooks) that let autonomous squads iterate in days, not months.
Product-led growth engine: Optimise the entire funnel (activation, retention, monetisation) in a self-serve environment where the majority of revenue is inbound or usage-based.
Enterprise & sales partnership: Shape packaging, pricing, and roadmap for our fast-growing B2B/enterprise segment; build the bridge from PLG to sales-assisted motion by collaborating closely with Sales, Success, and RevOps on enablement, compliance, and account-expansion features.
Scale-up leadership: Hire and coach managers of managers as we grow from dozens to hundreds of employees while protecting a product-first culture grounded in ownership and speed.
About you
Seasoned product exec: 10+ years in product management and 2+ years running a PM org (VP/CPO/Founder).
Entrepreneurial builder: Former founder or early-stage product owner who has steered a 0 to 1 journey. Comfortable wearing many hats, owning P&L, and rolling up your sleeves to operate in true builder mode.
Scale & stage veteran: Have taken a core product from early traction through hyper-growth, seeing head-count grow from dozens to hundreds.
PLG believer: Deep experience driving self-serve or usage-based revenue models, where >50% of ARR is inbound or usage-based. You know the levers by heart.
AI / visual-content builder: You’ve shipped products or prototypes that rely on diffusion, LLMs or computer vision - or you’ve built beloved visual tools (photo/video editing, slides/website builders).
Data & user obsessive: Comfortable pairing data with qualitative research; you run frequent experiments and know when to trust intuition.
Hands-on & technical: Happy to dive into Figma, analytics, or code to unblock the team and model the standard.
Builder of builders: Proven track record hiring exceptional talent, nurturing career paths, and leading with high empathy/low ego.
Location: Based in Europe and able to spend at least one day per week in our Paris HQ (or ready to relocate).
