L2 Engineer – Systems & Networking

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated L2 Engineer – Systems & Networking to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing both internal and external project-based work with a primary focus on cybersecurity, automation, and infrastructure. As a senior escalation point for the service desk, you will lead process improvement efforts and contribute to delivering secure, efficient, and scalable IT solutions across the organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and deliver key IT projects, both internal and client-facing
  • Drive cybersecurity enhancements, automation, and operational improvements
  • Serve as a senior escalation point for complex technical support issues
  • Perform project scoping, documentation, and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IT service delivery standards
  • Required Skills & Experience :

  • Professional Background:
  • Proven experience in IT services and technical support
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and vulnerability management

  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Security Tools: ThreatLocker, Blackpoint, ImmyBot
  • Networking & Security: Cisco Duo, Cisco Umbrella, Cisco Meraki
  • Scripting & Automation: PowerShell
  • Cloud & Servers: Microsoft Azure (VMs), Windows Server (including RDS Farms)
  • Backup Solutions: Veeam

  • Desirable Experience:
  • Automation platforms such as REWST
  • Workflow tools like Microsoft Power Automate (Flow)
