About the Role
We are seeking a summer intern to support our Technology team. Partnering with department leaders, you’ll gain hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:
Software Development (building and testing applications)
Data Engineering (structuring, cleaning, and analyzing data)
Machine Learning & AI (model development and testing)
Cybersecurity (assessing and improving system security)
Sustainability Analytics (analyzing environmental impact data)
The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science or Software Engineering,is curious, open, and willing to learn. You seek out opportunities to help others and have a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude—no job is too big or too small.
What You'll Do
Projects and scope of work could include:
Developing and testing software solutions to improve system functionality and performance
Analyzing large datasets to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement
Assisting in building and optimizing machine learning models for predictive analytics
Supporting data engineering tasks, such as data cleaning, transformation, and structuring
Researching and implement best practices in AI/ML, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructure
Collaborating with engineers and data scientists to design scalable solutions
Writing clean, efficient code and documentation to support team projects
Conducting performance testing and debugging to improve application efficiency
Assisting in securing cloud-based systems and mitigating potential security risks
Presenting findings and recommendations to the technology team

Compensation & Work Setup
Compensation: $20/hour
Duration: Full-time, June 10, 2025 – August 16, 2025
Location: Remote (within the US)
Technology Stipend: Interns will receive a $100/month stipend to subsidize technology/internet costs. Interns must provide their own laptops.
