As the Vice President (VP) of Revenue Operations at Gurobi Optimization, you will be a key member of the leadership team, overseeing and optimizing critical business functions and go-to-market activities, aligning processes, systems, analytics, and enablement for sales operations, marketing operations, customer license fulfillment, and license agreement management. This role will ensure the seamless integration and execution of strategies across these areas and streamline the end-to-end lead-to-cash processes, ensuring alignment with organizational strategyand goals. This high-visibility leadership role will work closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to deliver on strategic initiatives and support the company’s long-term growth and success. You will report directly to the Chief Financial officer.

What will you be doing?

  • Partnering with sales leadership to design and implement effective sales operations strategies that support revenue growth and productivity. 
  • Managing functions essential to increasing sales function productivity, including territory planning, reporting, quota setting, commission modeling, sales process optimization, and sales playbook management. 
  • Ensuring alignment between sales processes, tools, and systems to optimize performance and drive consistent sales results. 
  • Overseeing forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking, partnering with Finance/FP&A to ensure accurate and timely sales and marketing metrics and data for decision-making. 
  • Overseeing customer licensing/order fulfillment, streamlining the processes, and collaborating with legal, finance, and other stakeholders to manage customer licensing agreements and ensure alignment with our evolving product strategy. 
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute operational strategies that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing programs through full-funnel management and lead velocity/conversion analysis and data flow. 
  • Optimizing marketing operations processes, including campaign management, budgeting, analytics, and reporting. 
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization, ensuring scalable solutions for future growth. 
  • Working closely with the CFO to align sales and marketing expenditures with overall financial objectives, ensuring ROI and accountability. 
  • What experience and qualifications should you have?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. 
  • 15+ years of proven experience in operations management, with a focus on revenue/sales operations, marketing operations, and GTM functions in a high-growth software or SAAS enterprise.

  • Excellent project management skills with experience in leading large-scale, cross-functional projects. 
  • Strong business acumen and financial literacy, with the ability to align operational strategies with organizational goals. 
  • Expertise in process optimization, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Ability to manage complex relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors. 
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and actionable manner. 
  • Ability to foster the development of high-performance teams and have fun doing it. 
  • What systems and tools should you have experience with?

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) & Marketing Tools: Salesforce, Marketo 
  • Project Management Software: Asana 
  • ERP/Financial Management Systems: NetSuite, Anaplan 
  • Business Intelligence & Reporting Tools: Power BI 
  • Advanced Skills in: Microsoft Excel
